A Chamberlain man was sentenced last week to 34 months in prison for sexually abusing a 13-year old boy. 25-year old Chad Pease pleaded guilty in October to one count of aiding and abetting the sexual abuse of the minor. The conviction stemmed from a July 2015 incident where Pease engaged in and attempted to engage in a sexual act with the minor. Pease will be on supervised release for five years after he is released from prison. A co-defendant in the case, 25-year old Julia Pease of Fort Thompson, pled guilty in August to aiding and abetting the sexual abuse of a minor. She was sentenced in November to 24 months in prison followed by five years of supervised release.
