Body Of Missing Howard Man Found In Western SD

A body found in the Deerfield Lake area in western South Dakota is believed to be that of a Howard man who has been missing since October. The body was discovered yesterday afternoon. Deputies and investigators were called to the scene. Based on his clothing, physical description and location, the deceased is believed to be 66-year old Larry Genzlinger. He was found approximately 2 miles north of his last known location. The investigation will continue to confirm the identity. An autopsy is scheduled for today.
Genzlinger was last seen elk hunting with his nephew on October 1st. Multiple agencies have searched for him for months, covering nearly 2,500 miles.
