Woman Who Hasn’t Cut Her Nails in 22 YEARS Details Her Struggles to Zip Up Her Pants, Pick Things Up, and Open Cans

Diana Armstrong from Minnesota hasn’t cut her nails in 22 YEARS.  In fact, she has broken the world record for the longest nails. Now she’s revealing the downsides of living with her massive nails.

She said she struggles with activities like zipping up pants, opening cans, and using the bathroom – since they often don’t fit in the stalls of public restrooms.

The record breaker last cut her nails in 1997, but when her daughter tragically died from an asthma attack at age 16, she vowed to never trim them again. (The teen would manicure Diana’s nails every weekend, so after her sudden loss, Diana couldn’t bring herself to let anyone else take care of them.)

She even decided to quit her job so she could focus on growing her fingernails.

Now, her nails measure 42-feet collectively – the size of a school bus. She told Guinness that it takes between four to five hours to paint them, and uses 15-20 bottles of nail polish.
