Woman Busted For Releasing Bees on Police Serving Eviction Notice

A woman in Hadley, Massachusetts faces multiple charges after releasing bees while Sheriff’s Deputies attempting to serve an eviction notice.

Deputies arrived to the million dollar home to serve eviction papers on homeowner. They waited for the homeowner to return, but he was at court trying to delay the eviction.

Minutes later an SUV towing a trailer pulled into the driveway, and a woman exited her vehicle and went to the back of the trailer and started shaking bee hives to let the bees out.

A deputy attempted to stop the woman, but he was getting stung and had to step away.

The woman released 3 more hives as deputies tried to stop her. They kept getting attacked by the bees and 3 deputies were allergic.

The woman resisted arrest, but was eventually taken to the ground and handcuffed.

The woman charged with felony charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, the bees, and disorderly conduct. She pleaded not guilty to the charges and was released without having to post bail.

Mitchell coach Deb Thill to retire after 2025-26 school year

The Mitchell School District says longtime coach Deb Thill will retire at the end of the 2025-26 school year after 35 years leading Kernels athletics. Thill was the first volleyball coach at Mitchell High School and has been the program’s only head coach, the district said.
