Matthew Perry Was Making $20 Million A Year In “Friends” Residuals

Matthew Perry was making nearly $20 million a year in syndication and streaming revenue from his role on the sitcom “Friends.”

Following his death last month, people have been questioning where that money will go. Perry didn’t have any children and wasn’t married.

If he didn’t have a person or organization as the beneficiary, his parents, who are still alive, would likely inherit his estate and cash. However, trusts are private matters, unlike a will so it’s possible it never becomes public knowledge who inherits this income.

Perry died on October 28th while in a hot tub in his Los Angeles home, but a cause of death hasn’t been confirmed.
