Man Finds Camera That Was In River For 13 Years And Is Able To Retrieve Photos From It

A man fishing in the Animas River in Colorado found a camera that was under the water for 13 years.

The man found the camera sticking out of the sand. He said curiosity got the better of him so he took the memory card out of its compartment.

He didn’t think the card would work, but was shocked when he put the memory card in his computer and found photos of a bachelorette party, a wedding and tubing trip on it.

The man shared the photos to a community Facebook page where members started recognizing themselves in the pictures.

The camera had been dropped on the tubing trip and traveled a little over a mile during its 13 years underwater.
