Interest in Backyard Chickens Surges After Egg Prices Soar

Chicken owners have seen a surge of interest in owning backyard coops since egg prices soared.

People are asking more about owning chickens on social media and if it could be a solution to the empty shelves and high egg prices.

The costs can quickly add up with having your when chickens. Form a chicken coop, fee antibiotics and daily supplements. Plus, it’s illegal to sell your backyard eggs in some states.

Owning your own chickens is more of a lifestyle and a passion for hand raised fresh produce. Plus, the chickens are pets.

If you do end up wanting to be an owner, chickens are social animals and you need at least 2 chickens.
