French Bulldog Named Winston Wins Top Title at National Dog Show

Winston, a cream-colored French bulldog, won top honors at the 2022 National Dog Show, unseating Claire the Scottish Deerhound who made history by winning the last two years of the annual event.

The National Dog Show said Winston is a ‘bouncy, crowd-pleasing French Bulldog’ and has previously won 78 Best in Shows throughout his career.

NFL Player Morgan Fox, a defensive end for the Los Angeles Chargers, is part of the ownership group that cares for Winston, having looked after him as a puppy.

Mitchell coach Deb Thill to retire after 2025-26 school year

The Mitchell School District says longtime coach Deb Thill will retire at the end of the 2025-26 school year after 35 years leading Kernels athletics. Thill was the first volleyball coach at Mitchell High School and has been the program’s only head coach, the district said.
