An alligator fleeing from  Florida police officers attempted to crawl under a patrol cruiser and became stuck beneath the car.

The Leesburg Police Department tweeted a photo showing the alligator wedged with half of its body beneath the patrol car.

“…the gator was safely extracted and there was no permanent damage to the vehicle!”

It was not clear whether the alligator was relocated or released at the scene.
