State police in Maine said a dog that was ejected from a vehicle led them to the site of a crash. 

An officer picked up the dog after seeing the canine running through lanes on an interstate. While trying to find the dog’s owner, the officer noticed a man standing on the side of the road yelling for help.

The man was part of an accident nearby where two vehicles collided and rolled over, which ejected the dog.

The dog suffered a few scratches and no one was hurt in the accident.
