Dog Celebrates Big Birthday Milestone: 23!

A 23-year-old dog named Ladybug recently  celebrated her birthday at a Veterinary Clinic in Manheim Township, PA.     It’s believed that Ladybug was born on Jan. 3, 2000.

Her owner, Mary Jo Hughes, is considering seeking official recognition from Guinness World Records to have Ladybug officially titled the oldest dog in the U.S.

Currently, the oldest listed dog is listed as being born in September of 2000.
