Clueless Tourist Nearly Ruins Romantic Proposal

There’s nothing like planning to ask the girl you love to marry her, picking the perfect scenic location and then having a bystander almost ruin it. That’s what happened to one couple and the nearly-disastrous proposal was caught on camera, and now it’s a viral TikTok making viewers both laugh and cringe.

The video, which was posted Tuesday and has racked up more than 433-thousand views so far, shows Sean Munn and his girlfriend Jordan McGowan having their photo taken in front of an impressive waterfall in Iceland. Just as he starts to get down on one knee to propose, an oblivious tourist gets in the way.

The woman ignores the romantic moment, which seems hard to do as he’s on one knee and has the ring in his hand, and she steps right over Munn’s leg so she can snap a photo. Fortunately, the clueless tourist didn’t ruin the proposal and the couple is able to laugh it off. “Honestly I find it funny,” McGowan writes along with the video. “No harm done, it’s a laugh to watch.”
