Event Postponements/cancellations 

The 50th Annual Corn Palace Stampede Rodeo scheduled for July 16-19, 2020, has been cancelled.

The Driscoll Cattle Company has cancelled their bull sale and instead will be offering them private treaty at the ranch. Please contact Brian at 605-203-1289, go to Driscoll Cattle Company.com or find them on Facebook.

All SD 4-H face-to-face activities are cancelled, or postponed, or delivered through alternative method until at least May 15, 2020.

Businesses

Central Electric will CLOSE its office to public access until further notice. The cooperative will continue to take member calls 24/7 and respond to outages. Members can call anytime at 605-996-7516 for assistance.  

CherryBees Floral and Gifts is open during their normal business hours.  Flowers are available for store pickup or no contact delivery.  Free delivery to Nursing Homes.  Call 996-0001 to order your flower arrangements or gifts.

The Corn Palace and Mitchell City Hall will be CLOSED to the public until further notice.  City staff are available by telephone.  The Corn Palace Box Office is still open. Several City of Mitchell facilities remain closed until further notice.  Check the updates at:  www.cityofmitchell.org.

E-Z Ride Taxi has temporarily stopped service.

The Highland Travel Plaza employees will pump fuel for you daily from 10 AM – 6 PM.

Linda L Logan Counseling Services is open for business through Telehealth Counseling from your phone, laptop or computer. Call 605-999-6162 with questions or to set up appointments.

Mitchell Float Spa is temporarily closed due to COVID-19. They are still offering their Elderberry Syrup, Oils, Epsom Salt Bath Soaks, Gift cards, diffusers and soaps. You can call the store and leave a message with their orders 605-990-4100.

Nepstad’s store front is closed until further notice. Customers call still call (605) 996-4323 to place orders or use their drive-up window. Open from 9 AM to 5:30 PM Monday to Friday 9 AM to 4 PM Saturday.

Rhoads Chiropractic is open. 417 N Main, Suite 110, Mitchell. Hours 8:30 AM to 5 PM Monday thru Friday (605) 996-0661.

The Salvation army of Mitchell will be delivering food boxes to Davison County residents that are not leaving their homes because of high risk medical conditions and/or are quarantined. Please call the office at 605-996-3964 to schedule a front door drop off.
