A third person has submitted an application to fill a seat on the Mitchell School Board that will be vacant. Steve Sibson turned in an application, that according to Mitchell Schools Superintendent Joe Graves. Mark Bernard and former school board member Dana Price also submitted applications. The board will either choose a new member from the applications or ask to interview each applicant before choosing. The seat is currently held by Rick Johnson. Johnson has submitted his resignation after suffering a stroke last December.
