Joe Quintal Field in Mitchell will be getting a new scoreboard. The Mitchell School Board last night approved the purchase. The scoreboard will cost 210,000 dollars. The school district will be responsible for 70,000 dollars. Over 127,000 dollars will come from sponsors and donors. The remaining 12,500 dollars is expected to be raised by the school district. The full motion message board scoreboard, made by Brookings-based Daktronics, has upgrade capabilities. It will be located in the west end zone at Joe Quintal Field.
