A former Mitchell pharmacist accused of stealing thousands of dollars of drugs from Walgreen’s pharmacy in Mitchell has begun serving his jail sentence.  60-year old Jim Buechler pleaded guilty to misprision of a felony, which is a misdemeanor.  He had originally been charged with possession of a controlled substance and grand theft, which are felonies.  Buechler reached a plea agreement with prosecutors in which the felony charges were dropped.  He will serve ten days in the Davison County Jail.
