Miller Conviction Upheld

PIERRE, S.D. (AP) — A Scotland man’s conviction for killing his infant son has been upheld.

The South Dakota Supreme Court Thursday affirmed the 2011 second-degree murder and aggravated assault verdict in Turner County against Chris Miller, who’s serving life in prison for it.

His son, 4-month-old Jacob Miller, suffered a severe skull fracture and bleeding on the brain.
