Residents in Hoven in northern South Dakota are dealing with the shock of losing their school after a weekend fire. Authorities say the blaze, which destroyed Hoven High School, started at around 1 a.m. Sunday and was still burning after sunrise. About 55 students attend the
combined junior high and high school. The cause of the fire is being investigated. Superintendent Peggy Petersen says school board members will likely meet later this week to talk about the future.
