Hanson County Woman Found Dead In Kimball Identified

The woman reported missing from Hanson County who was found dead at a grain facility near Kimball has been identified. Law enforcement is continuing the investigation into the death of 64-year old Sue Bannwarth of Fulton. She was reported missing on Monday and was later found in Brule County. An autopsy was conducted on Tuesday.  Preliminary results indicate that no foul play is suspected.

The Brule County Sheriff’s Office, Kimball Police Department, Hanson County Sheriff’s Office, Mitchell Police Department, South Dakota Highway Patrol, and South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation all assisted in the investigation.
