Former Mitchell Man Killed In Motorcycle Accident

A former Mitchell man was killed in a motorcycle accident in Georgia last week. 34-year old Troy Hermandson of Lilburn, Georgia, was killed in the accident, which occurred Thursday night. Officials say Hermandson lost control while operating the vehicle at a high rate of speed. The motorcycle left the roadway and struck a mailbox before striking a power pole. The force of the impact caused the motorcycle to split in two. Hermandson died at the scene.
