The Mitchell City Council on Monday night will discuss whether or not to build an indoor pool. The pool could possibly be located next to a new 90,000 square foot wellness center being built by Dakota Wesleyan University, which will be located south of campus. The item is for discussion only, so no action will be taken by the council.

The council will also consider an ordinance to allow off-sale liquor sales in Mitchell on Sundays. Voters in 2010 defeated a proposal to allow off-sale liquor sales on Sundays. Tonight’s council meeting begins at 7:30 at City Hall in downtown Mitchell. Committee meetings begin at 6:40.
