Corn Palace Fails Alcohol Sting

The Corn Palace will temporarily stop selling wine after failing an alcohol sting on Tuesday.  The employee looked at the customer’s identification, miscalculated the customer’s age, and made the sale of a bottle of wine.  Corn Palace management will review its training procedures on alcohol sales.  The self-suspension of wine sales will not affect beer sales at special events at the Corn Palace.  It is the first time the Corn Palace has failed an alcohol sting..
