The Mitchell City Council meets Monday night at 7:30 at City Hall. The council will consider awarding a bid for the demolition of the building which formerly housed the VFW. Only one bid was submitted for the demolition – it was by Ironman Construction of Tyndall at a cost of nearly $217,000. Prior to the regular council meeting, the Public Properties Committee will meet at 6:15, the Traffic Commission will meet at 7:05, and the Finance Committee will meet at 7:20.
The department will be called The Ron And Sheilah Gates Department of Music.
