Davison County Road And Bridge Input Sought

Feedback on roads and bridges in Davison County was the subject of a public input meeting held Tuesday night at the Davison County Fairgrounds.

A Davison County transportation study is being sponsored by the South Dakota Department of Transportation.  State and county officials, as well as officials with engineering firm HR Green were on hand at the meeting to take public input and answer questions from residents of Davison County.  The transportation study is expected to be completed by July 15th.  It will cost 100,000 dollars, 80,000 of which is paid by the state.  The remaining 20,000 dollars will be paid for by the county.

Written comments on roads and bridges in Davison County will be taken until December 16th.  They can also be submitted online at https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/DavisonCounty.
