Country star Trace Adkins has left rehab – again – this time after his father fell ill.

The “You’re Gonna Miss This” hitmaker entered a clinic in Lake Worth, Florida earlier this month after struggling to maintain his sobriety.

A representative for the star has confirmed to WENN that the 52-year-old has checked out of the facility after receiving news his elderly father Aaron’s health had deteriorated. Further details of Aaron’s condition have not been released.

He had already left rehab once this month, reportedly to purchase a guitar.

Adkins had been sober for more than a decade after completing a 28-day alcohol rehabilitation program in 2002, but decided to seek professional help following an altercation with an impersonator on a cruise he was booked to perform on in early January.
