CHICAGO (AP) — Prosecutors want to grant an elderly bank robber his wish – and then some. Walter Unbehaun, 74, said he robbed a suburban Chicago bank so he could go “home” to prison.

A judge sentenced Unbehaun to three and a-half years for the bank heist.

Now, prosecutors say an additional 18 months should be tacked on for violating parole.

Authorities note the man’s rap sheet goes to back to early 1960s.
