Kellie Pickler gets ‘sweet’ for ‘VeggieTales’

NASHVILLE (AP) — Kellie Pickler will be the voice of a singing sweet potato.

She will lend her voice to a character named Mirabelle who leads a family band in the “VeggieTales” DVD, “Beauty and the Beet,” according to Taste of Country.

The video is based on the “Beauty and the Beast” fairy tale. She will perform seven original songs in the movie.
