Gotta go? Rent a restroom

Gotta go? Rent a restroom

WHEN YOU GOTTA GO, YOU GOTTA KNOW: Airpnp is truly American innovation at its finest. Photo: clipart.com

Piggybacking off the popularity of sites like VRBO.com and Airbnb.com, a new site aims to help you find a nearby toilet.

Airpnp makes finding the nearest available toilet easy. It follows the concepts of other vacation rental sites, which allow users to search and reserve private homes for short-term stays.

The site’s slogan is “We take care of lavatory logistics so you don’t have to.”

Airpnp allows “entrepeeneurs” to list their lavatories and information including price, photos, and address.

Rental restrooms will be put to the test at Mardi Gras, where streets will be crowded with partygoers and available public restrooms will be in short supply.

One New Orleans Airpnp user is promising a free beer to every customer and others are going the one-day membership route.
