Governor Dennis Daugaard has proclaimed January 20, 2014, as Buche Foods Day in South Dakota. The first Buche foods store opened in 1905 in Lake Andes. Now, Buche Foods serves six communities across the state. Today, RF Buche, who has been president of the company since 2000, opens a new Buche Foods store in Scotland. For their community support and the jobs created, Governor Daugaard has proclaimed today as Buche Foods Day in South Dakota.
