Monday is the first day of school in the Mitchell School District. Superintendent Joe Graves says although official numbers are not known, enrollment looks to be up this year. He says personnel turnover was higher than in past years due to the rebound in the economy. Drivers are urged to be aware of extra traffic and children throughout town with the start of the new school year.
