An account has been set up at Fulton State Bank to assist the family of Doug Nelson, whose house just northeast of Fulton burned down Tuesday night. Nelson and his wife Mary, and their two children were not at home during the blaze. The family was at a basketball game when the fire started. The Nelsons lost nearly everything in Tuesday night’s fire.
