About 1,300 customers were without power after an outage hit southwest Mitchell last evening. Northwestern Energy Spokesman Tom Glanzer said there was a problem with a substation in town. The outage not only affected residential areas, but also several businesses on the south side of town. Power was restored before 8:00 last night.
