Zesto May Move To Downtown Mitchell

Zesto May Move To Downtown Mitchell

The Mitchell Planning and Zoning Commission yesterday approved a plan which would move a longtime drive-in restaurant to downtown Mitchell.  Zesto has been at its current location on South Sanborn Street for 63 years.  Owner Roxie Ackman plans to move it to West First Avenue, across from the Mitchell Public Safety building.  She says she has been thinking about the move for quite some time.  One feature of the new Zesto building will be indoor seating.  However, Ackman says Zesto will not be open during the winter.  Ackman hopes to have the new Zesto open next spring.
