US Attorney Brendan Johnson Forms Sex Trafficking Task Force

US Attorney Brendan Johnson yesterday held a press conference at which he announced the formation of a sex trafficking task force.  Johnson says human trafficking is a growing problem everywhere, including in South Dakota.  He says that although the majority of the arrests are made in Sioux Falls, the victims often come from across the state.  The task force is comprised of the FBI, Homeland Security, the Minnehaha County Sheriff’s Office, the Sioux Falls Police Department, and the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation.
