Two Florida Men Arrested In Cabela’s Theft

Mitchell police have arrested two Florida men for attempting to steal more than 8,000 dollars worth of merchandise from Cabela’s.  26 year old Yamel Rivera of LeHigh Acres, Florida and 28 year old Yuseff Elias of Miami, Florida were apparently involved in a multi-state theft ring in which thousands of dollars of merchandise was stolen.  The men used fake identifications and fake credit cards in the thefts.  Rivera was arrested and charged with attempted grand theft and for possession of a forged instrument, both felonies.  He was arrested as he fled on foot.  Elias was arrested and charged with attempted grand theft, possession of a forged instrument, and identity theft.  He was arrested at a motel in Sioux Falls.  Authorities are continuing their investigation.
