Three People Hospitalized After Weekend Crash

Three people were hospitalized as a result of a one vehicle rollover crash in Davison County early Sunday morning.  The accident occurred around 2:15 Sunday morning at the corner of 404th Avenue and 247th Street in Davison County near Letcher.  Five people were in the pickup.  Patrick Johnson and Joseph Sandness, both of Woonsocket, were ejected from the 2004 Ford pickup and hospitalized with serious injuries.  The driver, Blake Hemminger of Letcher, was also hospitalized with serious injuries.  Their conditions are unknown at this time.  Hemminger was charged with 1st offense DUI and vehicular battery.  The South Dakota Highway Patrol, Davison County Sheriff, Sanborn County Sheriff responded to the accident.
