RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) — South Dakota School of Mines and Technology canceled classes in the Electrical Engineering/Physics building after a male faculty member was found dead.
Rapid City police say it does not appear to be suspicious.
Officers were called to campus late Thursday morning and found the man, who had already died. They didn’t release details.
The university sent out alerts to students and staff telling them to avoid the building.
School of Mines canceled classes for the day in the building and made counselors available.
