Rodeo Awards Given Last Night

Gary Balding of Mitchell was inducted into the Corn Palace Stampede Rodeo Hall of Fame at last night’s rodeo mixer, which was held at the Highland Conference Center.  Delmar Plamp of Mount Vernon was named the marshal for Saturday’s rodeo parade.  Jerry Luckett, Wade Greenwood, and Jimmie Nicolaus were recognized for 20 years of volunteer work by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association.  Rodeo week activities continue tonight with Jackpot Team Roping at the Rodeo Grounds.  For more information, log on to corn palace stampede dot com.
