MTI Student In Stable Condition Following Car Accident

A Mitchell Technical Institute student is in stable condition after an early morning rollover accident near Humboldt.

Just after 4:00 Tuesday morning, 18-year-old Dylan Young of Dell Rapids was eastbound on Highway 38 traveling from Mitchell to Dell Rapids.  Young began to drift and overcorrected, rolling his vehicle.  He was ejected from the vehicle.  A passerby came upon the vehicle on its top in the ditch and found Young nearby. He was flown to an area hospital with serious injuries and is in stable condition.

Young, who was the driver and lone occupant of the vehicle, was not wearing a seatbelt.  Police say that alcohol appears to have been a factor.  Charges are unknown at this time.
