MTI Holds Donor Recognition Event

The CEO of East River Electric Power Cooperative has been presented with Mitchell Technical Institute’s Donor Legacy Award.  Jeff Nelson was recognized at MTI’s annual donor recognition event, which was last night.  Nelson is a founding member of MTI’s Strategic Advisory Council and a member of the MTI Foundation Board of Trustees.  A 1,000 dollar annual endowment scholarship has been established in the name of Nelson and his wife Trudiann.  George and Violet Kolstelecky were recognized as Individual Donors of the Year.  Lance Koth was honored with the Volunteerism and Service Award.  Innovative Systems was named Corporate Donor of the Year.  Doug Fuerst and Jon Schmitz were recognized for their service on the MTI Foundation Board of Trustees.
