Mitchell Named A Smart21 Community Again

Mitchell has been named a Smart21 Community for the second year in a row.  The award is based on a community’s ability to use the internet to stimulate its economy.  The field of 21 communities will be narrowed down to 7 in January, and a winner will be chosen in June.  Mitchell is the smallest community to receive the designation.  The other U.S. communities in the running are Arlington County (Virginia), Columbus (Ohio), and Walla Walla (Washington).
