Mitchell Middle School Library Renovation Scaled Back

Mitchell Middle School Library Renovation Scaled Back

The Mitchell School Board on Monday night voted to reject the bids submitted for a major renovation of the Mitchell Middle School library.  The low bid came in $38,000 dollars over budget, prompting the board to scrap the original renovation plans.  However, Mitchell Schools Superintendent Joe Graves says there will still a scaled-down renovation done internally, including a new paint job, new carpeting, the moving of the bookshelves around the perimeter of the library, and some drywalling.
