Mitchell Man Sentenced For Assault

A Mitchell man was sentenced to 15 years in prison for an assault at a local motel in May.  30 year old Larin Hannel assaulted 37 year old Daniel Kenyon at the Budget Inn Motel.  The two were in a room together when the assault occurred.  Kenyon suffered multiple serious injuries in the incident, including several broken teeth, a broken jaw, several lacerations, a severed ear, and nasal and rib fractures.  Hannel was given credit for 127 days served.  He will be eligible for parole in May 2022.
