Mitchell Firefighters Fight Overnight House Fire

Mitchell firefighters were on the scene of an overnight house fire at 615 West 4th Avenue early Friday morning.  Mitchell Assistant Fire Chief Paul Morris says nobody was injured.  The house was not occupied, had no furniture or personal belongings, and had a For Sale sign in the front yard.  The fire is believed to have started on the south side of the structure and spread.  An investigation into the cause of the fire will begin on Friday morning.
