Mitchell City Council To Meet Monday Night

The Mitchell City Council meets Monday night at 7 pm at City Hall in downtown Mitchell.  There are only three items on the agenda.  One is the awarding of the bid for the city library addition and renovation project with change orders.  The council is also expected to set the election date for the ordinance authorizing the sale or consumption of wine on sidewalks in downtown Mitchell.  The council will also consider approval of a request from the Stampede Rodeo Committee to conduct a fireworks display at the rodeo grounds on Friday, July 19th.
