Medicaid Task Force To Meet In Sioux Falls

The Medicaid Opportunities and Challenges Task Force is meeting again, this time in Sioux Falls.  The group was appointed by Governor Dennis Daugaard to look at the issues surrounding the proposed expansion of Medicaid. Part of the Affordable Care Act, the expansion would add about fifty thousand people to Medicaid coverage, with the federal government paying all the costs, at least for the first few years.  The committee meets Tuesday afternoon from 3-7 pm and Wednesday from 8:30 am-3 pm at the Ramkota Hotel in Sioux Falls.  Public input will be taken Tuesday from 5:30-7 pm.
