McGannon Retiring As Public Works Director

Today is the last day on the job for a longtime City of Mitchell employee.  Public Works Director Tim McGannon is retiring.  McGannon has been the city’s public works director since 1990.  He says some of the projects of which he is proudest are the B-Y water project, the Mitchell landfill, and the replacement of all of the town’s bridges.  A search is underway for his replacement.
