MITCHELL, S.D. (AP) — A 60-year-old Letcher man is in custody after leading authorities on a chasethat they say reached speeds above 150 mph.

Officers say Bruce Pueppke was driving a Porsche more than 100 mph on Interstate 90 in Hanson County on Sunday night and fled from a Highway Patrol trooper who tried to stop him.

The chase ended at a home north of Mitchell where authorities found the man hiding in grass. He was arrested on speeding and fleeing charges.
