Huron Student Wins Local Spelling Bee

A Huron Middle School student was the winner of the 2014 Corn Palace Regional Spelling Bee on Saturday which was held at Dakota Wesleyan University.  8th grader Kevin Baltzer, 2nd place finisher Carolyn Blaha of Wagner, and 3rd place finisher Veronica Knippling of Highmore-Harrold will represent the region at the South Dakota Scripps Spelling Bee which will be held in March in Vermillion.
