Firefighters were called to a small fire at the Emery Elevator on Wednesday afternoon.  Authorities say a train-loading system that had been closed down for a couple of weeks caught fire.  The system was being worked on by contractors for annual maintenance.  It was described as a minor but persistent fire.  No one was injured.  The Emery and Mitchell fire departments responded.
